Last updated: July 30, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to SmokerGear (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at smokergear.com and all associated calculators, guides, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of them, please do not use the Service.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, or using SmokerGear, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
We may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Planning Aids — Cook to a Safe Temperature
SmokerGear’s calculators are planning and reference tools. They apply common rules of thumb to the values you enter and round results for readability, so a result depends entirely on your input and on the assumptions of a simple model. Nothing on the Service is professional food-safety, nutrition, or medical advice. Cooking times and temperatures are estimates only; actual times vary with your equipment, the weather, and the cut of meat. Always cook food to a safe internal temperature verified with a thermometer and follow the guidance of your local food-safety authority before serving.

SmokerGear provides free, browser-based calculators and educational resources, including:
- A smoking time and temperature calculator for planning a cook

- A charcoal and pellet burn-time estimator

- A brine ratio calculator and a dry rub ratio scaler
- Guides, explainers, and reference content on smoking and barbecue
All tools are provided free of charge. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
Your Responsibilities
